Home-School Connection
Concord Hill takes pride in the strong partnership we cultivate with our families, recognizing that the home-school connection is essential for our students’ optimal growth and development. This collaborative relationship is built on our shared commitment to Concord Hill’s core values, the "4 C’s": Care, Connection, Curiosity, and Courage. Whether through weekly classroom newsletter communications, participation in our whole school Community Meetings or CHS Connects parent education programming, school-sponsored community events, or a range of volunteer opportunities, partnership with families is at the core of what we do to support children’s development and lifelong learning.
A key element of our partnership with families, CHS Connects is a parent education program that aims to bridge the classroom and each student’s home. Striving to be both proactive and responsive, CHS Connects is designed to engage caregivers in an interactive dialogue about both the challenges and celebrations of parenting our youngest learners and teach research-based skills and strategies for supporting child development.
