At Concord Hill, our admission process is designed to allow families a chance to get to know our school and our programs from multiple perspectives.

The first step of applying to Concord Hill School is connecting with the admission team by submitting an inquiry below. This initial step ensures that we can provide you with all of the information you need to guide you through our process.

The application fee for sibling and faculty children applications are waived. Applicant families may also request an application fee waiver when completing the online application.

Requirements of the Admission Process

Applicant Visits

Student visits are a required part of our admission process. All applicant visits are scheduled for January or February after an application is submitted.

At Concord Hill, we do not require any formal testing/evaluations as part of our admission process. We believe that our applicant visits give us the most authentic view of our applicants. There is nothing applicants/families need to do/prepare for these visits.

Although additional admission testing is not required by Concord Hill, you may share WPPSI, WISC, or other evaluations with us if you choose.

Confidential Student Evaluations

Confidential student evaluation forms for Preprimary–Grade 1 and Grades 2–3 must be completed by the applicant's current teacher(s)/a non-guardian caretaker and submitted to Concord Hill by January 24, 2025. The age appropriate form will be automatically emailed to the applicant’s teacher/non-guardian caretaker when you apply online. All evaluation forms should be submitted to admissions@concordhill.org or mailed to the school.

Families of children applying to First, Second, and Third grade must also request that the applicant’s transcripts be sent to Concord Hill by January 26, 2024.

Admission Process:

Assessment Criteria: Each application is reviewed based on a range of factors, including academic readiness, personal strengths, and how well the student aligns with the school’s educational goals.
Enrollment Considerations: Admission decisions are influenced by the current enrollment and class composition. In cases where there are more qualified applicants than available spaces, a waiting list will be created.
Waitlist Management: When openings become available, the admission committee reviews the profiles on the waitlist with careful consideration of the overall class dynamics and the alignment between the student’s needs and the school’s objectives.
