Cub Club
Cub Club is Concord Hill School's extended day program. We offer faculty supervised activities and care for students in all grade levels during the afternoons until 6:00 PM. Students will enjoy a combination of outdoor play, planned activities, and opportunities for further investigation and learning. Cub Club is led by Leila Rajabzadeh, Concord Hill’s Director of Auxiliary Programs.

Please email Leila Rajabzadeh (Director of Auxiliary Programs) for any further Cub Club Extended Day Care for the fall term. Cub Club Winter Registration will be available in December.

*Payment Policy for Absences: You are responsible for your child’s full tuition regardless of absences due to illness, vacation, Federal holidays, and/or weather-related school closings.
Drop-In Care
Drop-In care is provided for students to assist with any unexpected or temporary child-care needs should they arise. This coverage is also offered on days when our school is closed due to half-day school closures and Teacher Workdays. This service is not offered during federal holidays or extended school breaks.

ABC Crafting with Mrs. Kaufman & Mrs. McKenna
Join Mrs. Kaufman and Ms. McKenna as students explore their creativity with a class that combines a shared book every week with a fun arts & crafts project!

Games Galore for Fun (& Math) with Mrs. Massaquoi
Come play a variety of games, from Busy Town to Hi! Ho! Cherry-O, Count Your Chickens, Uno Jr., and many more! We will work on taking turns, collaboration, and losing (and winning) gracefully. Along the way, students will practice counting, number recognition, and other early math skills.

Chess Club with Magnus Chess Academy
Learn chess from Magnus Chess Academy! We teach more than 4,000 children each week. State and national champions have come from our programs, but most of our students are just looking to have fun! Class time is split between lesson and play. Lessons range from learning the rules to advanced tournament strategies, depending on the children. Play time is structured to pair each student against an opponent of similar skill. Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments.

Concord Hill Choir with Mrs. Blind
Students will experience the joys of singing a variety of choral and contemporary songs with friends! Through movement, games and vocal exploration they will work on developing a healthy vocal tone and strong musical ear. A small performance to showcase what we’ve learned will take place at the end of the semester!

Tae Kwon Do with Flying Kick
We teach our classes with a little love and a lot of discipline; the students work hard, but training is fun! The whole basis of Taekwondo training is to have children learn this martial art and the basics in a fun, enjoyable way, this helps children channel their mental and physical energy in a positive manner.

Dance with us! This class will have students learning basic classical ballet techniques and positions in a fun way. Dancers will develop an awareness of alignment and ballet vocabulary. We will work at the barre and center. Class will culminate in a sharing for parents.

Speech Therapy Club with Michelyve Allen
The Speech Therapy Club is designed to help students enhance their articulation, language, and social skills in a supportive group setting. Led by an experienced speech-language pathologist, our sessions provide targeted practice in speech clarity and language development while fostering essential social skills like emotional regulation and team building. The group environment encourages collaborative learning and offers students the chance to practice social interactions and build confidence. All enrolled students will receive a personalized account for educational games to continue their practice at home. Atelier Adventures with Amore Learning
We invite young artists to explore various artistic mediums, and nurture self-expression! Each class focuses on a different artist and their renowned technique. Through a series of unique projects, we will experiment with these different techniques, materials, and styles, and work collaboratively to encourage one another. Students will have opportunities to showcase their creations during class exhibitions, promoting a sense of confidence and accomplishment. Fencing with Nazlymov Fencing
Fencing is a truly unique sport as it challenges students on several levels! Students will learn to master the basics of fencing footwork, rules and the “right of way” concept, as well as the basics of offensive and defensive actions. Students will then be able to put it all together at the strategy level!

Nature Club with Amore Learning
In this engaging course, young explorers will cultivate a love for the great outdoors and journal their adventures along the way. Through outdoor exploration, students will develop a deeper understanding of the natural world, honing observational skills and fostering a sense of wonder. Hands-on projects will encourage creativity and environmental stewardship and focus on plants and animals during the Fall season. Families are invited to share in their child’s learning on the last day of class. Join us as we explore, observe and create in the magical realm of Nature Club!
